1. Who we are

Dios Design Inc. operates this website. We are a marketing advisory company working with businesses in the Fox Valley, Kane County, DuPage County and greater Chicagoland area.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and optionally your business name, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field. We use Formspree to receive those submissions and deliver them to our email. The form also uses a hidden field to catch automated spam.

Information collected automatically

Our web host, DreamHost, keeps standard server logs that record requests to the site. These typically include IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. Logs of this kind are a normal part of running and securing a website.

If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how the site is used. That includes pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. The address is used briefly to derive an approximate location and is then discarded.

Payment information

We do not collect or store card numbers. When a payment is involved, it is handled by Stripe, either through a Stripe-hosted checkout page or a Stripe payment form embedded on our page. Stripe receives your card and billing details directly and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the transaction and basic details such as name, email and amount.

What we do not collect

3. Cookies and similar technology

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We divide ours into two groups. Necessary cookies are required for the site to function and are set without asking. Optional cookies are set only if you choose "Accept all" in the banner.

CookieSet byPurposeLifeType
dd_consentDios Design Remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear6 monthsNecessary

Changing your mind. Select "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and make a different choice. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

The accessibility toolbar loads for everyone, including before you make a cookie choice. Placing an accessibility tool behind a consent prompt would block the visitors who most need it.

4. Why we use it

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, each under their own terms and privacy commitments.

ProviderWhat they handle
DreamHostWebsite hosting and server logs
FormspreeDelivery of contact form submissions
Google (Analytics 4)Website usage measurement, only with your consent
StripePayment processing
accessiBeAccessibility toolbar

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

6. Selling and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not engage in targeted advertising as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws. We do not operate a financial incentive program tied to your data.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing here for a Global Privacy Control browser signal to opt out of. We still honor the cookie choice you make through the banner.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights and choices

Twenty US states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws in effect as of 2026, with Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island joining on January 1, 2026. Illinois, where we are based, regulates privacy through targeted statutes rather than a comprehensive law, so your specific rights depend on where you live. We apply the following to anyone who asks, regardless of state.

Email info@diosdesign.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to that response. If you remain unsatisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.

9. If you are in the EEA or UK

We are a US business serving clients in Illinois, and we do not target the European market. If you contact us from the EEA or UK, we rely on your consent for optional cookies, on the steps necessary to respond to your enquiry for contact form data, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website for server logs.

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Information processed by our service providers may be stored in the United States.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Our service providers maintain their own security programs, and Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 for card handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required under Illinois law and any other law that applies to you.

11. Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated notice.
